I actually went out this weekend!

Ok, so I didn't get off campus....but I got out of my dorm room, and it's a start!
Friday I went to practice and got a blister on my finger. It popped before I even knew I had it and hurt to high heaven. Then I took a shower and it stung even more. In conclusion, I don't handle pain well.

After the fastest shower known to man (or woman) I went to Shruti Laya, which is the South East Asian cultural show and it was fun fun fun times a million. I want to take traditional Indian dance for my PE class, now, but it's not offered in the spring. :( That's ok, though, because there's always next year (even though I technically don't need to take gym because I get PE credits for being on the fencing team. Woot for being a varsity athlete! Hahaha.) After the show, Sara and I went back to our dorm and changed for the Message Party!

It was.....better than Tower Court. And I saw people there that I knew! Yay! But it's still not the same as going to dances with you guys. We are soooo going clubbing over Christmas break. I will refuse to leave Buffalo until I've been to at least one club. And that is final.

So yeah- here's my take on message parties: They're an excuse for people to hit on other people anonymously. I guess maybe I knew that before hand, but I was still sad to see my fears vindicated. And I also have to say, Dear DJs, please play real dance music. Not rap, not R and B. REAL. DANCE. MUSIC. Thanks. Love, Me.

On Saturday Jimmy Eat World was playing the Avalon, but I couldn't get tickets. *cries hysterically* It's ok. I accepted the fact that they were never going to play Buffalo. I can accept the fact that I missed them in Boston. I don't have any money anyway. And they WILL come back. If I have to write them 5 million letters all by myself.
