In a nutshell:

Too much has happened in the past couple of weeks, so I'll just give a quick run down of everything. On March 15 I got to see a kidney transplant and it was rockin'. Seriously, it was very cool. And not bloody or horrendous or gross at all for all you squeamish folks out there. Then, on March 16 Kelly and Marie came to visit me. Yaaaay! Thursday was St. P's day, so we went into Boston because we knew that noooobody in Boston eeeeeever gets drunk on St. Patrick's day. :o) We went to Quincy market and got dinner at Cheers, then wandered around for a while. We somehow found our way to the waterfront- it was beeaaauutiful- and then wandered around the North End (Italian quarter) and got yummy yummy dessert. Then we went to Tealux were the dude flirted with Marie. Heehee.
On Friday we met up with Naomi and Michael in Boston, got crepes and bubble tea, then went to Brandeis and hung out. I <3 A Knight's Tale.
On Saturday Marie had to leave, so we dropped her off at South Station, then Kelly, Naomi and I did a good deal of The Freedom Trail. It was awesome, but exhausting. Naomi went back to Brandeis for dinner and Kelly and I went to the Greenhouse Cafe and ate dinner next to a Belgian dude and his hot Australian friend. Then we had dessert at Au Bon Pain and all was good.
Sunday morning Kelly and I took the Senate Bus into Boston and took the train back to Buffalo. We did a good job of procrastinating about homework and watched some movies. The train was on time, though, so at 8 o'clock sharp Kelly got off in Syracuse and I continued all by my lonesome little self back to Buffalo where Mike, in his infinate coolness, picked me up from the train station. Then we met up with Kim and Greg Kaufman and watched Fight Club at Kim's house.
On Monday I made brownies and Ria, Kim and I watched Almost Heroes at Mike's house. (He was there too).
Tuesday, Kim and I went to UB so I could try to get a job in a lab. I don't think I got it because I haven't heard from the dude yet. But it's ok because I got a volunteering thing at Roswell Park in the Immunology department. I'll be there twice a week, unpaid, but soaking in lots of useful knowledge. I still need a real job, though. After UB Mike came over and we watched Pride and Prejudice. We didn't actually finish it, though, because we had to take a break for dinner, and then my brothers wanted to watch TV and then people came over. However, Mike and I are dating, so I can make him watch the rest of it with me at any time, mwahahaha.
I mean....I will not abuse my power.
Wednesday, Kim and I drove to Syracuse. First we got lost in Buffalo. But after we found our way to the throughway it was all good. We picked up Kelly and Jason and went to the mall, where we had dinner and walked around and such. Then we went back to the University and I got to fence a BOY! A real, live Boy! And he bruised me. But it's ok. I should have been parrying. After fencing we got milkshakes and all as right with the world.
On Thrusday we went to Starbucks in the morning, then Kelly went to class. Kim and I were going to do something evil while she was gone but we were tired and uncreative, so we didn't. After Kelly came back we went to dinner with the fencing boys, then partied it up like whoa in Newhouse. The party went a little longer than planned, so we didn't end up leaving Syracuse until around 10. But no matter. I got us home by 11:30, ticket free. (Plate light = compete crap.) Then we partied it up again at Kelly's house with the Buffalo crowd.
Friday morning I left for Boston. Uneventful trip. I saw my old babysitter for the first time in forever, which was really nice. Saturday and Sunday we visited people, then I got dropped off at school, where I did homework like a mad woman.
Thus ends my vacation.
