Happy Thanksgiving!

First of all, I would like to inform the world that after break there are only two weeks left in the semester. Then I would like to inform the world that reading period has been sadly shrunk and is now only two days. Thirdly, I would like to inform the world that I'm not ready for finals yet, so can they please go away until a better time?
Actually, I feel that I have been slacking lately, so I won't complain anymore.
Here's a list of things that are due between now and the end of the semester:
My Religion paper (which I'm going to Brandeis to research for. I'm excited!) Due Dec. 12.
My second English paper. Due Dec. 2 (I think.)
My second Bio lab practical. Dec. 7 or 9. I forget. Apparently, lab practicals don't exist in the Chemistry world. Neither do lab reports. It's very unfair.
Third chem exam, also early December. For some reason I think it's Dec. 2, which makes me sad.
The Collegium Concert- Yay! That will be awesome!
Then my three lovely finals. Plus my English thing- I haven't decided yet whether I'd rather write a paper or do a take home.
All in all, looks like I'll be home around Dec. 22. Exactly a month!
Ahhhh- too much to do! *insert frenzied freaking out here*

Ok. Done.
Oh- but I feel that I should tell you that I have come up with a life plan. I shall marry both Fred and George Weasley. And then live happily ever after. The end.

Maximillian

You know what sucks? My lab report sucks. Let me tell you why:
1. I spent a crapload of time writing it and I don't even think it's that good.
2. I skipped both of my classes today to finish it.
3. I got to lab and I thought to myself, This wasn't worth it. Why did I spend so much time on this stupid thing?
On the other hand it made me realize that I haven't put something off like this since my first semester, which means that (until now, at least) I am totally kicking procrastination's butt. (And I will say in my own defense to myself that I didn't think the experiment was going to be so flawed and that it was going to take so much time. Bah.)
Anyway, besides the lab report, lab was awesome as usual. In fact, this post is named after my mink, who is a grand and quite obese creature. Today as I was pulling chunks of fat out of him to get to his kidneys I thought of this speech from A Comedy of Errors where Dromio of Syracuse describes this cook who is making advances on him:

Marry, sir, she's the kitchen wench and all grease;
and I know not what use to put her to but to make a
lamp of her and run from her by her own light. I
warrant, her rags and the tallow in them will burn a
Poland winter: if she lives till doomsday,
she'll burn a week longer than the whole world.

I'm so mean to Max. But it's so true! He would burn for a week! Maybe more!

But moving on. This weekend is going to be very busy. On Friday I'm going to see When Harry Met Sally because it's being shown by the film society and I've never seen it. Then on Saturday we're leaving for Brown at 6:30am because the meet starts at 8. I'll be in Rhode Island all day and then the plan is to go home and do homework because on Sunday I am sleeping in and then going to see Harry Potter with Naomi! It shall be the highlight of my week.
