First Day of classes
First off, I have an announcement to make: It's Tuesday. Secondly, I would like to say: I HAVE MAIL!!!!!!!! KELLY YOU ROCK! This was probably the highlight of my day.
Ok, so I woke up, went to Bio, came back, hiked to mail services and got my passport, returned to my dorm, started my reading, found that the first chapter of the book is reeeeeaaaaaalllllly easy and basic review stuff, stopped reading, went to Green Hall and got my working papers, bought post-it notes and batteries, checked out Molly's Pub- it was closed- hung around the acedemic green for 45 minutes because it was right by Founders Hall, checked the choir listings 4 times because I had nothing better to do (and they weren't up all four times), and went early to my class that I thought I was locked out of, but really I was trying to go in the wrong door.
Wow. I have the say that Islam in the Modern World sounds like a really interesting class. A difficult class- yikes, two big papers!- and one that requires a lot of reading- 10 books, count them, 10 books. More than all the rest of my classes put together and costing nearly as much- but a REALLY interesting class. So I'm looking forward to that.
After class I went and bought all 10 books, stood in line for ages and then checked the choir list again. It was up this time. And I'm shot down. Eh, C'est la vie. Maybe next year.
Then I went back to my dorm, had a cookie, found and read my HOT HOT MAIL, and now here I am, skipping Convocation like the rebel I am and avoiding homework already. Actually, there were bagpipes playing earlier and I almost went to Convocation because I really wanted to do stepsinging, but they do stepsinging at other times during the year, so I decided to be lazy and not go.
Oh, the comedian last night was really funny and I hope he comes back next year. Chances are good, seeing as this was his 11th time at Wellesley. Haha.
Alright, now I really have to do homework and write back to Kelly, who wrote me a letter like I asked, PHIL GETMAN!

Correction: I wrote that letter BEFORE you asked.
If you recall I was bored and had nothing to do and so I wrote you a letter. Later that day I was talking to you and you said you wrote me a letter and I responded "I WROTE YOU A LETTER!!" But its all good because you're coming to VISIT ME!! I got a letter from my mom today....maybe I'll get one from you tomorrow!
