Dear 18-year-old Elizabeth

This is possibly the best peice of mail I've ever received (spelling and punctuation errors and all):

Dear 18-year-old Elizabeth,
Remember me?  little nine year-old Elizabeth who hates boys who think girls are wimpy?  I hope you're geting good grades, you better be!!!!  how is Browni?  (the mouse!)  are yiayai kai poppou all right?  or are they dead?  Are you still going to live with Gretchen and laura ina white house with green poka-dots with a snake a chinchilla and many other pets?  are you still a messy pearson?  what's your boy friends first and last name???  Sorry, sorry just keep me up to date!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Have you visited Mrs. Roche yet?  you better!!!!!!!  Do you still have nice cursive?  are you still goig to be an actress or a nurse or a vetaranarian?  are yougoing to go to collag?  I would if I were old anough!  Okay, okay, I wasen't telling you what to do!  Are you still writing in your Diary?  are you six feet tall yet?  Do you have a new pet?  are you going to get married?  are you going to have a baby?  Am I being anoying?  Do you still have that ecosystem book that the third grade class made in room 112?  by the way, how do you like being 18, able to vote, consitured an adult very miture!!  I like being nine!!
Do you still stick up for people like Marie??  (your old third grade friend)  is your favorite color still white or has it changed to blue or something?  can you read my writing?  please tell me the truth don't just be nice, I hate that excuse!!!!  are you still in to acting?  proububly not hu?  do you still hate your brothers or are they coming in handy?  just wondering!  is reading still your favorite sudjucte in school?  witch is your favorite grade so far?  witch was you favorit age level so far?  did you cross the street and look both ways when you were in the middle school?  and did Mrs. Roche jump out and give you a prize?  I hope so!!
                                                                                                    Sincerely,
Elizabeth from the time machien

And this is what  I have to say for myself:
Dear 9-year-old Elizabeth,
Of course I remember you!  How could I forget myself?  I still hate boys who think girls are whimps, but there aren't very many of them anymore, which is an excellent thing.  Don't worry about my grades, they're fine.
Browni died in fourth grade.  She was followed by a succession of mice, all very nice, but after having one die from cancer I decided not to have any more pets.  I still like snakes and chinchillas, though I'm not going to live in a house with Laura and Gretchen anymore.
Yiayia and Pappou are fine, both alive and well.  I'm still a messy, disorganized procrastinator.  I don't have a boyfriend at the moment, but that's ok.  I do have two exs, though.  One who is a complete jerk and one who I'm still very good friends with.
The last time I visited Mrs. Roche was last year, I think, when I went back to Lindbergh to say good-bye to Mrs. Noble, our fourth grade teacher who was retiring.  My cursive, well, I don't use it a lot, but I think it's nice.  At this point I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be a nurse or an actress or a vet.  I am going to college at Wellesley (remember how we were so against going to a women's college?  I guess times change) for English, probably to be an editor or do something in publishing.  That is, if I can make a decision about doing pre-med.
I have a journal instead of a diary, now.  Peter and Alex were too interested in things that had locks.  As for being six feet tall, well, let's just say I'm still waiting for that to happen.  And how can you ask me about marraige and children, you silly?  Save that stuff for a letter to my 30-year-old self!
I do still have the ecosystem book from third grade (but I never look at it).
I like being 18 and being able to vote.  I don't know if I'd consider myself an adult, though, and I'm certainly not mature.  In some ways I'm still a kid like you.
I will always stick up for the underdog.  And Marie doesn't fit that description anymore.  We're still friends, even though it was tough going sometimes in middle school when we never saw her!  I don't really have a favorite color anymore.  Remember why we picked white for our favorite color?  It was because white is the color produced when all colors of light are mixed.  I love all colors, and I approve of white as a favorite color because I love love love the reason behind it.
It would be pretty sad if I couldn't read my own handwriting.  It is a little on the messy side, but perfectly readable.  Yor spelling could use a little improvement, however.
I'm not still into acting, at least, not for myself.  I love movies and theater and who knows?  One day I could write my own play!  Pete's actually taken to acting recently, and you know Ben's always been in to that sort of thing.  You'll be happy to know that Pete and I get along just fine now (amazing what high school can do to a brother).  And someday Alex will grow up (I hope).  As for all those favorite questions, life is too short to pick favorites.  I loved every age and every grade.  Each one was different and fun.
I don't remember if I looked both ways when I crossed the street in middle school, but even if I did I didn't get a prize from Mrs. Roche.  That's ok, though.  I think I can manage without one.
Love,
Elizabeth from the future

I drove a standard (all by my self)!

Oh my goodness gracious.  My mother let me drive her car without her sitting in the front seat.  Yes, yes, yes gentle readers, Miss Manners, I mean me, actually drove a standard all my self and I didn't hit anything and I parked really well, Mr. Getman, and it was just the cat's pajamas.
Anywhooo...
Yesterday I cleaned my room some.  The thing about my room is that I've been cleaning it for the entire summer, and I fear that it shall never be clean.  I just have too much stuff, but I can't bring myself to part with any of it.  Today was actually a good cleaning day, though.  I threw stuff out.  I feel like I did a lot, even though my room looks pretty much the same as it did this morning.  Eh, appearances can be deciving
So yesterday after fun fun cleaning I went to Kung fu and we did a massive ab workout thing and lots of push up that were really nasty and now my entire torso is really miserable and sore.  We also sat in our splits for a while, so my legs are kinda sore, but they can handle that type of thing.  My arms, however, are very wimpy
At 9:30 we went to Starbucks.  It was exciting because, as I exclimed in my first paragraph, I drove my mom's car all by myself.  She's never let me do that before, so it was really exciting.  There was a police officer at Starbucks, but it wasn't Shawn or Duke.  :(  Danana wanted to talk to him, but I didn't let her.  We also got to meet Calen, kinda.  He was really quiet and a lot shorter than I expected.  That's ok.  I understand that we can be a kind of overwhelming group at first.
After Starbucks Dana, Naomi, Christina and I piled over to Phil's house to hang out in his mad cool basement.  We played Clue (and I'm not very good at it, I know) and Guess Who because we graduated from high school and we're adults.  We also had this odd KoolAid that was apple flavored and did this weird cooling thing to the back of your throat.  It wasn't a bad thing, just really wierd.
Then I drove people home and I got home in one peice and I rock.  Ok.  Now I is going to Mark's party and then to fencing.

Kilts make my life

On Saturday I helped out at the Campfire car wash, even though I'm not in campfire and they are the sworn enemy of girl scouts.  I was very peppy and held signs and screamed at people to get their cars washed (you need to get your car washed in order to be accepted by society, if you get your car washed people will like you, there are lovely young women who want to wash your car; we're the ugly ones, so they stuck us out here-  I stole that one from Dana.)  That was fun.  Then we went to Emily's house and ate pizza and chips.
That evening some people went to Shakespeare in the Park and it was mad sweet.  By mad sweet I mean there were men in kilts hacking at each other with broadswords and axes and parrying daggers and all sorts of sharp, pointy weapons Well, there were really only two men in kilts, but two men are better than no men, so it made my life and I LOVE KILTS!!!!!
After that we went to Phil's house and played Scattergories in his sweet  basement that has a new humongeous TV and is redone.  Phil and I are a mad hot Scattergories team.
Today I cleaned my room some more, and then I went to Brian's party.  Congrats and happy birthday to Brian.  I'm insanely jealous because his parents love him  more than mine do and bought him a really nice red truck.   Well, just kidding.  About the love thing, that is.  They really bough him a truck.  Yay for Brian!  And it turns out that you only have to be 18 to be the liscenced adult in the front seat.  Hot.
Christina taught us how to play Egyption Rat Screw, and my question is, how did it get that name?  Not only that, but it's a really scary game to play, especially if you're sitting between Mike and Mark, and they're both intent on slapping the pile to get in.  So after I got out I was too scared to try the slapping thing, so Kelly and I left to play Secret Agent with the little girls and fight against the evil boys, just like in the good old days.  (Random moment:  remember when Marie dumped a bucket of water on David Schirelli's head?  I do.  It was the highlight of my life.)  And there was this mean little kid.  The meanest little kid I ever met.  First he pretended to have a booboo, and he lured Steve over.  Then when Steve bent down to see if he was ok the little kid punched him in the face!  It was terrible!  And also really funny.  The he told me a rabbit pooped on me.  And then he said he pooped on me!  Then I called him mean and in front of his dad, too.  Then his dad said it was time to go (but not just because of that.)
Here is what I have to say:  I'm not athletic.  I cannot catch a football.  I cannot throw a football.  Heck, I just learned how to throw a frisbee, how can you expect me to know how to catch one?
Later, after most people left, we had a ballon letting go ceremony and let all of Brian's balloons go.  It was cool, but Brian's dad called me short (and I'd given him a flower!  For free!  What's this world coming to?)  Eh, that's life.
Then around 8 we ditched the boys and went out for coffee at Starbucks.  To this I have to say: Thighmaster and the Artvoice was soooo the way to go.  Too bad it failed at lifeKind of like your face.

Whoa!

Suddenly and inexplicably my posting format thing I don't know how to describe it place has changed.  It's a good change.  Ooooo, like I can turn my text pretty colors.   Wow, that was exciting!
Ok, so I don't really remember what I did on Wednesday.  I remember in the evening I went to Condrelle's with Marie and Christina and Ang and Ria.  I had salad, croutons and ice cream for dinner.  It was a good day.  Then we went and visited Kelly because she was going crazy doing her lawn.  Ria and Ang ditched us, but that's ok.  Kelly and I went to see Brian open his presents and then we went and had girl's night at Marie's.  This involved candy, chips and Ever After.  I love that movie!  Drew Berrymore is one of my favorite actresses, even if she can't do a very good British accent.  Plus the movie takes place in France.  And Dougray Scott has amazing hair!
Hmmmm.  On Thursday I had a harp lesson, and Kelly drove because she's cool like that.  It was kind of sad, though, because it was our last lesson with Becky, maybe forever.  I gave back all my books...well, except for one.  I'm making copies out of that one that I can use if I ever get another gig.  When I got home my mom was on the phone with Mrs. Kratzenberg.  She's my hero!  She was calling ot congratualate me on my 5 in AP English (yikes!  how did that happen?) and she gave me my AP scores for free.  She said to call her when I get back from my trip because she wants to hear about it.  She rocks my socks!
Thursday evening we all went to Kim's, but Kim wasn't there!  It turns out she was with Alex Moyer, and they came in after a few minutes.  Kim has a sweet new computer.  I was jealous because I wanted a sweet new computer, but I don't have to be anymore because now I have one too!  It came in the mail today and it's hotttt times five million!
Anywhoo, we'd decided to have another girl's night because the boys thought they were too cool to hang out with us.  Also known as they were having a boy's night.  Haha.  They wish they were cool.  We played Cranium and Kelly and I are a mad hot team.  Kim and Ria beat us, but we have a system going.  For instance, everyone knows the symbol for squash, but now we have symbols for derby and thighmaster.  Like I said, we're a mad hot team.  And this is too random for words, but Ioani is in King Arthur.  How hot is that?  All right men, we 'ave to go back!
So now I have an announcement to make.  It's taken me many months, I know, and untold labors, but, finally, I'm proud to let you all know that I have put my France pictures into a photo album.  That's about all I did of note today.
My cousin left this morning (but I was sleeping, so I missed it), I finished the Da Vinci Code and I looked at my new bank account online.  Soon I'm going to go out for Chinese food (yum!).  And that's my day.
Oh, and the moral of the story is that I had way too much fun with the font colors, and someone should take them away from me before I do something drastic....heehee...

Um, yeah.

So Tuesday morning at two Phil and I broke up. And we WERE going out for two weeks no matter what you say, Phil Getman. The 30th to the 13th is two weeks exactly. So there.
Anyway, yesterday I set up a bank account with Fleet. Now I've got my very own checkbook and debit card. I feel so very grown up. It's not cool.
Oh oh oh, I had an amazing meatball sub for lunch from Quizno's. My mom thought I was weird for getting onions on a meatball sub, but I say, I like onions and I shall get them on whatever I want. I think they enhanced the sub. Then I went to Target and got a hamper (funny word, don't you think?) for my dorm room. I didn't see Mike Davidson, though.
After Target I went to Kelly's and we had some more fun with her hair. First we gave Christina highlights, then we dyed Kelly's tips green, and I must say they are very hot. We also attacked Alex Moyer's hair and dyed his bangs green. Then we debated the odds of his mother ever letting him hang out with us again. Somewhere in between all of this we also dyed the edge of Kelly's bathtub green, but they're getting a new tub anyway, so it doesn't matter...right?
After all the hair fiasco we went to Starbucks. I got a grande caramel frapiccino and it was much yumminess. I kinda missed dinner, though, and my family was annoyed. They left 5 mintues after I got home, though, to see Fahrenhiet 911, however it's spelled, so I guess it all worked out.
Chelsika and I went to fencing where Kelly and I taught beginners. It was soooo exciting! I talked to Brian and showed him the bruises he gave me and he tried to deny that the nasty one on my chest was from him. Yeah, no one beleives him. After fencing, I went to Kelly's and found out that we were shot down by Sarah. Tsk, we see how it is.
Kelly drove me to Phil's and she is an excellent driver. Yay! She dropped me off and went to pick up Dan Bostaph and buy gas. While she was gone there was a Christina and Dan crisis that I'm still confused about. Are they together? Are they not? Does anyone know and will someone please tell me? I is quite confused.
During the Christina and Dan fiasco we played eggroll and I was the eggroll, as usual. MArk shuffled for me, though, which was really nice. Shuffling for me then was the only reason he was still standing at the end of the night. See, after Kelly and Bostaph and Christina and Dan all returned there wasn't enough room around Phil's kitchen table, so we all moved outside. That was fine, except Mark picked me up, which was not cool, and then held my arms back while Mike kissed the top of my head. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, I am contaminated forever. I kicked Mike once and I'll do it again! Ew ew ew. Ew. Shudder.
Anywhoo, that was a really nasty thunderstorm last night! It actually woke me up. And this morning my internet wouldn't work. But it magically came back by lunch, so it's all good. Then I went out to lunch with Phil and now that's all good too.

Heat and Humidity

I say the heat and humidity should take a vacation, go to someplace nice and far away, like, oh, St. Thomas. Right now I feel as if I've been rolled in honey, that's how gross and sticky I am.
Today I set my alarm for 10, and I actually dragged myself out of bed by 10:30. Yay! I checked my e-mail, which was tres exciting because I had three Wellesley related e-mails. One was from my roommate who sounds really cool and nice, one was from the music department lady about harping next year and the other was from the Copy room at Wellesly shooting me down because I'm not a work-study. But that's ok. Work-studies need the job more than I do.
At noon I went to Phil's house and we ate some yummy lunch and watched Top Gun. Then I went home and found out that Kelly PASSED HER DRIVING TEST. To which I say "of course!" Yay and Congrats Kelly! I knew you could do it! So I called Kelly and tried to make Chicken Stefatho (Greek chicken stew) at the same time. It took me kind of a long time (one chicken or duck, disjointed) and I got a crick in my neck. The phone cord decided it wanted to be letahl as well, and foiled some plots to knock my onions on the floor and take out my foot with a can of tomato paste.
At 5:30-ish I left the stew boiling on the stove and went to Kung Fu where we did fun monkey stuff. Then I returned unto my house for salad and a celebratory piece of strawberry rhubarb pie because my mom and brothers had returned from their two week sojourn in New Hampshire, bringing my cousin Jonathan with them. And Jono's been growing again...sheesh. Who gave him permission to do that? Certainly not I, and I have given him strict instructions to stop such nonsense at once. I only hope he listens.
After pie I went to Bookmiesters. They want to take Sarah (the other graduating senior) and me out to lunch. How nice! We were all a little punchy, though. And Gina had too much caffine...eh, it's funnier that way.
Okey-dokey. Just keep in mind that Ma, I am a muumuu mama, I am.

Graduation Parties out my ears...

This was graduation party weekend for some reason and I don't know why. It's a very random weekend, why would all these people choose to have grad parties now?
On Friday I went to Phil's in the afternoon and then he and Bostaph and I went to Christina and Dan's grad party. Much funness and much good food! There was a little half japonese girl named Candy who was really cute and looked just like me when I was little. Yes, I looked very Asian. So much so that the most frequently asked question of me in kindergarden was "Are you Chinese?". (The answer was always no.)
So the highlights of the party were the Kareoke and the dancing. I must say that our eighth grade talent show act rocks my world and that Christina, Kelly, Kim and I should definatly form a Karoeke quartet. We can travel the country butchering every well-loved hit known to man. Our Kareoke bebut was followed by some hot dancing which the boys declined to join. Why don't guys like to dance? It's fun! And they were all dancing, albeit begrudgingly, at Prom. Hmph.
On Saturday I skipped King Fu and went to Phil's grad party. I got to meet his family- and they aren't weird, no matter what he tries to tell you. The only wierd thing was that he's related to the ECC Foreign Language Credit lady. She looked really familiar when I met her, but I couldn't place her, so I finally asked.
Oh geeze, I almost forgot. Before all the meeting of the family I learned how to play horseshoes. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand granades. I have no aim and apparently less arm muscle than I thought, because today my shoulder hurts just a little and I think it's from throwing stupid pieces of iron across the lawn (and missing the box most of the time.) When more of his cousins came we played volleyball and let me tell you, people are going to start asking how my parents treat me. Not only do I have yellowing fencing bruises, I now have bruises on my arms from volleyball. According to Brian this means I should eat more iron. He's probably right.
So today, Sunday, I was woken up at the ungodly hour of 8:30 am. I ordered a computer, which was surprisingly complicated, worked on cleaning my room some more, rode my bike to my cousin's grad party which was 8, not 4, miles away, rode my bike home from her grad party, cut both lawns and went to the Polka Festival in Niagara Falls with my Dad and Aunt Ellen. It was fun. There was loud Polka Music and much Polka dancing. I guess I've never really seen Polka dancing, so it was kinda cool, but kinda confusing because nobody was doing the same thing on the dance floor. I swear, every single couple was doing a different variation of the Polka. (And the entire time I was wondering if I would see Yasek because I spend too much time with Kelly and sometimes I pretend to know people in her CYO. Oh oh oh, there was a guy wearing a shirt that said Polska on it and yeah...I wish I was cool.) So that was a fun and different evening, although I am obligated to tell you that the Greek Festival is better, so you guys all better come next year.
Now I'm going to e-mail my room mate and hope that she's nice and that she likes me! Oh, and Happy Birthday to Erik (Eriq) and Brian! Finally, Erik can drive legally after 9...heeheehee.

I can't remember the last time I wrote

Hm, it's been a while, I guess. And my memory is fried, as usual. What have I been doing for the last couple of days?
Well, on Monday I went to the zoo with Phil and Kelly and Brian and Naomi and Christina and Dan. It was INSANE! First the birds attacked us. Then Dan annoyed the gorilla that is bigger than he'll ever be and made it want to kill him and us. Then the two monkeys were scarring forever and I'm blocking that memory. We also found out that the sea otters aren't coming until after we're gone. I wanted to see them! :( Oh, but we saw Monique in the gift shop. That was cool.
After the zoo I went home, ate a really fast dinner and went to Kung Fu. When we bowed in we didn't say "Shurfu how" (spelling? I don't understand Chinese-Ebglish phonetics!) loud enough and Laoshi got mad at us and made us run. That was not cool, but it wasn't as bad as the last time we ran. Then we got to learn some cool slow Kung Fu, so class was fun. Afterwards I came home and showered and went and saw Harry Potter with Phil. That was fun. Only problem was when my dad came downstairs that night/morning and found that Phil was at our house he was less than pleased. This resulted in a Serious Discussion at Kelly's on Wednesday and I have to be home and in bed by 1. Eh, it won't last forever.
On Tuesday I went to fencing and I now have at least three rather unpleasant fencing bruises. Stupid epee. Well, no, I really like epee. It's just that two of the bruises are probably from epee and the other is probably from sabre. All three are from Brian, though, and I know that without a doubt. He redemed himself by giving me tips for fencing Lisa in sabre, however. I have to say, Joel is a smelly buttface that no one likes and if he tries to teach the "open" class sabre ever again, I'm going to throw down my foil and take him down with my bare hands. I was teaching the intermediates so I couldn't on Tuesday, but I will. Oh I will. Also, it's funnt that Kelly and I are the picnic committee because we forgot until Dan stared pointedly at us. Haha, that was funny.
Tuesday night my dad was out of town, so I slept over at Kelly's. We rented Eurotrip, L'auberge Espangole and the first two American Pie movies. Phil came over and watched Eurotrip with us. Scarring, scarring, scarred for the rest of my life. The Hitler kid and the naked men and and and there was much to scar me forever. Then Phil left and we watched L'auberge Espangole, which was a sweet movie whose main character looks like my old Greek teacher's fiance, well, maybe husband by now, and Run Lola Run. It was foreign movie night. Then it magically became 6 in the morning and so we went to bed.
We woke up at around 1 on Wednesday, I think. I went home, showered and returned to Kelly's house. There I read about Europe, read the paper, well Life and the comics, and took a nap, thereby trapping Kelly behind the couch. Sorry! I was tired and it wasn't as uncomfortable as it looked. Then my dad came over for dinner, followed by the aforementioned Serious Discussion and then both American Pie movies. Thank goodness Kim wasn't there.
Hmmmm. Today I slept until 11:30, enen though I was dutifully in bed by 1 or shortly thereafter. I talked to Phil, practiced, hung out with Kt and Molly which was much coolness because I haven't seen her for ages, went to my lesson, called Phil from there and really confused him (sorry), and now here I am. Later I shall eat a proper dinner with my father for the first time in who knows when, visit the library and go to see Farenhiet 911 (I know I can't spell).
Last word: Please keep Graham and his family in your thoughts and prayers. His grandmother passed away this morning. May her memory be eternal!

Friday, Friday, Friday

Friday was an adventure. I had chores but I didn't do half of them because I ran out of time. I did scrub the turtle for about 45 mintues, though, and he hissed at me the entire time. Do turtles have feeling in their shells? I didn't think they did, but now I think they do. Hmm, it was an upsetting experience, though. First I thought the frog was dead, then the turtle tried to kill itself. See, when I went into Alex's room the frog was just floating on the top of the water. This was scary because he usually floats down under his rocks and I've never seen him just floating at the surface. And he wasn't moving. He didn't move for a good minute, not even when I put food in his tank. Thank goodness for the gold fish that are bigger than he is. One moved close by him and he darted away. Geeze. I was picturing telling my brother that his frog was dead and it was not a pretty picture. Then the turtle tried to kill itself by knocking the basin it was in off the bathroom sink and falling two and a half feet to the tile floor. Somehow it managed to land on its feel, but it was very confused and unhappy. Poor thing.
After that I drove myself, Kim (who we picked up from her dentist appointment), Marie, Naomi and Christina to the Galleria mall. I guess we missed the exit we were supposed to take, so we ended up taking this really funky way and taking about half an hour to get there. I had to leave kind of soon, so the other people secured a ride home from Kim's mom and I left. The only thing was I went out the wrong side of he mall and wandered around in the parking lot for about 15 minutes, wondering why I couldn't find my car and why nothing looked familiar. I called Kim and left her a sad message, then went back into the mall to try going out a different door. Kim called back, I found her, she pointed me in the right direction and I found my car at the exact time I was supposed to be home. Then I couldn't figure out how to get out of the parking lot. On top of this, my dad calls and asks where I am. So I'm driving aimlessly around, talking on a cellphone, being illegal and very unhappy. In the end I figured out how to get out of the parking lot and back to my house where my grandparents were waiting for me. They'd called the restuarant and Hutch's, which serves amazing food and is very, very nice, said they would save our table for us. Yay Hutch's!
After dinner I went to see Spider Man 2 with Phil. It was really good and I enjoyed it very much. I was annoyed at the fact that, without fail, MJ is always wearing a skirt or dress at the most inopportune time. I don't care if women in skirts are hotter than women in pants, Phil Getman. A sensible women wears pants when there's a possibility she's going to get kidnapped by a crazy scientist.
On Saturday I went with Kelly to a chorus concert at Fredonia. It was amazing, as usual. Then I fell asleep on the way home because I was really tired. After that we went to Ria's grad party and Michelle Struasser's grad party and I took people to Naomi's and went home and hung out with my dad who I've been ditching all week. We played three rounds of Word Thief and I got slaughtered. but c'est la vie. Then I stayed up until 2 talking to Phil and this morning I slept until 12:30. I got up, ate breakfast, showered and went to my Aunt Ellen's for limade and to admire her newly-finished hardwood floors. They are very beautiful.
After that I went to Phil's and ate yummy pizza and watched part of "Analyze That" and then we got picked up by my dad and tried to see the fireworks. Turned out they were canclled due to the rain, bit it wasn't raining anymore, so it was silly. Well, we didn't need fireworks anyway.
Then I got ice cream and saw Jessica Ramsden at Anderson's. Then we dropped Phil off and here I am, talking to him and Dan Bostaph and trying to finish this at the same time. Yay for multitasking!
PS- my DVD player is still broken. Why does it hate the world?

Ok

I'm sorry you're surrounded by non-English speakers, Dana. If they're speaking French, though, they are cool non-English speakers. And Kim, you are special! I don't know why my blog wouldn't let you comment on that entry. Probably it's rebelling, just like me. Only, it's doing a better job than I am.
So. The night before last we went to Phil's and ate yummy pizza and watched Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life". It was fun and I got to drink homemade grape juice and it was really good! Then I went home and talked to Phil until almost 6 in the morning. It was funny because as I was going my bed I could hear my dad getting up for work.
Yesterday I slept till noon, ate spanakopita, cut Chelsea's hair- well, trimmed really-practiced until my fingers hurt and went to my lesson. Want to hear something terrible? They're shutting down Becky's school because they're stupid losers! Darn Bishop what's-his-name!
Then I inveted Kelly and Brian and Mrs. Cooper over for dinner so I could get rid of left over food from my grad party. I'm now out of spanakopita and tiropita. Yay! Then some other people came over and Eriq discovered my deck. Later played Imaginiff... and sent the boys and Naomi and Briana to get a movie. But it turns out my DVD player hates me and I don't understand it and so we had to give up on the movie and play Scattergories. It was fun, but people got very worked up. (awwwwww Rosa Parks! We're so cool Kelly).
Now I'm awake, but I don't know why. And I want to eat breakfast!

I have a story...

To quote Kim, almost: I have a story to tell you. It's called I'm going out with Phil Getman. The end. Hee hee! :)
